fat finger
one has to wonder
what was going through their mind
perhaps the zen thing –
becoming one with the lock –
was not such a good idea

I arrived at the office this morning to find one of my coworkers waiting.
Actually, let us be specific. I found him sitting on a jersey wall outside the office building itself, enjoying the early morning light. (My building, being on a military base, has a security perimeter to make sure no vehicles come close to the building itself.) Apparently, last night, someone entered the wrong passcode into the door for the computer room… enough times in a row (and that’s quite a feat) to lock it out entirely.
Yeah. You have to wonder what this person was thinking after the fifth or sixth time they fat-fingered the code. I mean, okay, even I forget my passwords sometimes. I stop after the first attempt and go more slowly, and after the second I double-think my password to make sure I’m remembering it perfectly well. But this person did it enough times to actually require the services of the base locksmith…
Still kind of funny.
ha. that is funny. and sad all at once. hm. well, hope all is going well despite that!!! take care, Mila

I do that all the time with the codes at work. It’s ridiculous. Honestly.
