When I first saw NaJoMo and thought it stood for National Jacking Off Month.  I was perplexed at the need for a month to call attention to this particular activity.  I had a breakthrough in theory today; a student who has been struggling FINALLY grasped the concept of diminished, minor, major and augmented intervals.  It was nice to see her smiling for a change  I love my theory class.  They are doing well and are extremely bright.  They also like to attempt to engage me in a philosophical, spiritual or political discussion instead of the lesson at hand.  Sometimes I indulge them, but only on Fridays and only for the last twenty minutes of class (our classes run 90 minutes).

RYN – Thanks for your note. She ended up not being able to move her appointement up… So we find out tuesday if it’s cancer or not. I’m sorry to hear you have had to go through some of the things I have, being the child of an alcoholic. I’ve forgiven my mother though. She frustrates me at times, but she has a lot of problems. Hopefully the cancer doesnt become another!
