Quick update:

I announced my resignation to my students this week, amid tears and long faces.  They bounced back the next day.  The kids are also spreading rumors about who will replace me. 

I had lunch with ‘A’ on Friday.  Our relationship has settled into a healthy state – finally.  We are now truly friends.

‘J’ has an interview with a district tomorrow afternoon.  Her portfolio kicks ass, and I feel confident she will snag a job at one of the four new elementery schools the district is opening next year.

I really am excited about my new school.  I spent a day there last week and was warmly received by the music students.  M-gnome is going home at last!
