I have a New Year’s gig at a local Vietnamese restaurant, which is VERY French in influence. The place even has a baby grand piano, so I don’t have to schlep my digital piano downtown – yes! The best part is the gig is from 6 – 10, so I can celebrate midnight how I choose. I’m doing fondue for Christmas Eve, along with Hungarian Liptauer cheese, veggie tray, pate, carmelized onion dip, and assorted cookies. It should be yummy. There will, of course, be spiked eggnog as well.
