Things have turned around :)

About a month after the last entry I got a job. Not high paying, but a job is a job 🙂 I am a Pharmacy Technician for Kroger Pharmacy. I love the people and I am learning alot. Definitely boosted my ego to be working again.

Things with T and I have pretty much fallen apart and thats ok. In 8 months, he has not gotten a new job, tried to get his crap together and seems to have no desire to do so. Therefore a future with us is non existant. As much as I had hopes that we would be together,

I have learned that I need stability in my life. I need someone who wants the same things I want and has their crap together. Someone who shares the same goals and wants the same things out of life.

Almost two weeks ago I received a message from a guy I’ll call Mac. Totally out of the blue. He had seen my profile and thought I sounded interesting and wanted to talk to me and get to know me. So I thought, alright wth why not? We began messaging back and forth. Not typically a guy I would talk to as he’s 7 years older than me, but something in his words told me to give him a chance.

More messages led to chatting on Yahoo and then we finally exchanged phone numbers. We ended up talking over 6 hours last weekend. Isn’t that crazy??? Originally from NY, he’s in Finance, lives in PA and has an MBA and has his crap together. We both are avid movie watchers, love to read, love to travel and take random roadtrips. He is very close to his family and loves his nieces and nephew to death.

We made plans to meet next weekend and go to the zoo in PA. I am excited and nervous 🙂
