More of the Same…”

  • This coming Friday, February 8th, will be 14 working days since my car was picked up to be shipped here. I was told it "could take up to two weeks for it to arrive."
  • Today I got a check from the moving company paying me back for an $87 overcharge.
  • Also today I emptied one of the hanging clothes boxes and hung the clothes up. This afternoon, I will tackle  another.
  • Jake is going to go by the drug store after work this evening and pick up my monthly dose of prescription eye drops and the three-monthly amounts of the other drugs I take.
  • I am still not sleeping all through the night.
  • I have a wireless trackball but my wireless mouse is still missing. Jake brought the last suitcase from his house, but I still need to empty it. I have hopes my mouse is in there…
  • OK, the Back To Work timer just went off so I need to tackle the second hanging clothes boxes.

Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.

Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) English Poet

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.

– Oscar Wilde

Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. ~Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers}

Someone wise once said that anything can be accomplished one small step by one small step. 🙂 sounds like you are surely getting there.

I know that even though the company stated that it could take up to 14 days for your car to get there, but are you able to call just to get a status check to see on its whereabouts. I don’t think that is unreasonable. Woo hoo for getting a few extra bucks back from the moving company! That always makes everything a little more enjoyable. Also, congrats on the progress you are making on unpacking.

I’m hoping you find your mouse in that box, sans the mouse droppings! 🙂
