Snow!
- Can you believe we have snow here in NC? Fifty-plus road accidents since this started this morning…
- I have television now. A knock on the door yesterday and in came a guy to turn it on.
- I think my car maybe here tomorrow. I got a weird telephone message…the sound was breaking up a lot.
- I have ONE box left in the kitchen to open. It had better hold the cutlery. I have been using plastic spoons since I have been here.
- Jake had the good sense to choose to work from home today.
- I walked out to find my mail box today. A lot of flyers and one real piece of mail.
- I still cannot find a pillow as yet. But there are still many many boxes…
Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.
Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) English Poet
Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.
– Oscar Wilde
Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. ~Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers}
Maybe the cutlery is in a box marked “bathroom.” 😉 Sounds like you are settling in nicely.

Aw, your new home wanted to remind you of Vermont! (running and ducking for cover) Hopefully, the snow will be the last of your inconveniences and the cutlery and pillows.

We were supposed to get snow next week. Now I’m hearing 68 degrees on Monday. Hope your cutlery and pillow has shown up by now!
