Yawn! I Am Tired!

The furniture arrived today and now I have everything except a bed and  I also have far too many boxes still to be opened ! The mattress will be delivered tomorrow and Jake will put the frame and headboard up and the mattress on the bed and….and… AND… I get to spend the night in my apartment tomorrow!

I opened a couple of boxes in the kitchen today, put away all the stuff in there  and then decided to take a break and watch a DVD on my laptop computer. I tilted my chair back … and woke an hour and a half later!

We went out to a Japanese restaurant before we came back here to Jake’s house; It was very nice and I have delicious leftovers to eat tomorrow. Also, in unpacking the two boxes I have done so far, I discovered I have more pasta than I realized so, if I get round to unpacking the dishes  and knives, forks and spoons, I can have spaghetti… I have already found the teabags and the cups.

Tomorrow Jake is dropping me off at my apartment on his way to work, I will work on opening boxes and putting away stuff.

Time for bed!

Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.

– Oscar Wilde

Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. ~Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers}

Found you on the front page. Read this & several of your previous diary entries. Enjoyed them & I have added you to my favorites & bookmarks. I mostly just read here, do not post much at all. I have many favorites that I read every day. Glad to find you! Oh, welcome to your new home!

Sounds like things are moving along nicely. So glad you will be spending the night in your own apartment tomorrow night. I guess you can say that as of tomorrow you will be “HOME”. Hugs,M

You’re making good progress! Take your time and rest when you need to. There is no rush, right?

Wow! I can’t believe they delivered your furniture so quickly! Great!

If you are close to Cary, try Neo Asia in Cary. Their Dim Sum is as good as what you get in Chinatown in NYC.
