Procrastination!*
- This is a procrastination entry because I have to pack since I am going back to VT tomorrow! Actually, I am going to leave as much here at Jake’s house as I can and if all goes as I plan, I will be going back with an almost empty suitcase!
- I just got a phone call from Martha, the very nice grandmother of the family who live next door to me, and they, the whole family, will take the treadmill. She asked me what I wanted for it and I told her whatever she was comfortable with was fine with me since If I had the time before moving that I thought I was going to have, I would have put it as an offer on Freecycle where it would have been snapped up. {The apartment complex I am going to be living in has has two workout rooms. I will be using their treadmills for 10 to 12 minutes twice a day once I get settled in.}
- Just as I am about to leave, Rocky, one of Jake’s cats, has decided that I make good cat furniture and has consented to sit on my lap a couple of time! Of course, I have to be in the chair rather than on the couch. Jake says for some reason, they don’t like the couch.
- I just checked the chair and the two of them are lying curled up in a way that would make a great picture if I only had my camera {which is back in VT}Tomorrow before I leave on a plane, Jake and I are going back to the apartment to do the official inspection and turn in the paperwork.
- Next entry of two will be from Vermont. I am there for a week and then back here in Jake’s house for as long as it takes for my furniture to arrive!
Fear not for the future, weep not for the past.

Be yourself. Everyone else is taken.
– Oscar Wilde
Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. ~Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers}
Wow. It’s all happening very quickly! But I think this is overall, a great decision for you to make — warmer climate, close to your family.

It is happening quickly, but I always say that things happen for a reason. I am getting excited and giddy for you.

That’s a great benefit, that your new apartment complex has a couple of exercise rooms! it’ll be nice to be able to use that equipment without having to make room to have it in your own apartment. I am just so excited about your move, you’d think I was the one doing it! :o) !! hugs, Nicky

I hope you have the time you need in Vermont, I’m sure you will with Diane and Ernie helping you. I know you will be sad to leave them as they are like family but on the bright side you will miss a lot of snow!!! I am enjoying reading along about your plans and hope the new start in NC will be a nice fresh start.
