The Rest of the Day

  • I had a pretty good meal with Fred today. It cost me $3.00 which was a bargain! The only complaint either of us had was that there wasn’t enough cranberry sauce!
  • When I came in at about 11 am, Fred was watching the parade and during and after lunch, we watched the dog show. I was slightly annoyed that the lovely dalmation didn’t win Best of Show.
  • When I got home at about 3 pm, I went to lie down because my back was hurting and woke up a couple of hours later!
  • For supper this evening, I am going to have a bread-and-cheese-and-Marmite sandwich and a glass of wine! I am still full of turkey and stuffing and mashed potato…

Give thanks for unknown blessings already on their way.

Glad you had a good day. I often lie down and wake up much later. Happy Thanksgiving.

{{Hugs}} – Hey, did you say you found a way to make the Kindle Fire screen stay in one particular orientation? I can’t find that, and would like to.

We watched the dog show, too. Pretty animals!

There is never enough cranberry sauce at most places one dines out for Thanksgiving! Those who lay out the food seem to think people use it only as a condiment, when really, people who like it use it as a side dish! What breed of dog did win? hugs, Nicky

LIke that native prayer a lot–thanks for sharing. I know a writer here who needs that one by Nin, and will share that with her. We each had a baked potatoe and a glass of wine for our Thanksgiving lunch followed by dinner at 7 that night. Would have liked your choice for supper too.
