This is a Title
- Fred and I both got flu shots yesterday. Hmmm, I can’t remember if it was yesterday or today. On thinking it over, it was yesterday. Anyway, a visiting nurse came and did it.
- Today is Fred’s second day of being in bed all day.
- Today he got a prescription filled for acetaminophen and codeine. Really good timing when most of his pain has gone.
- I am not going to the book group meeting this weekend. This is only partly because I haven’t read the book.
- I have a massage appointment on Sunday. There is a good chance I won’t go to that nor the art class on Monday.
- My back is killing me. This is mostly due to the fact I fell asleep today on the very soft and not back-supporting couch…
- I want to scream and yell, kick things and have temper tantrums. Y’know, not being able to do those things is one of the great disadvantage of being an adult…
- Today is not the day I want to read optimistic quotations so I have deleted them for today.
Things to do tomorrow.
- Call Janice {book group}, Beth {massage] and send email to Teresa {art class}
- Go to drug store for my prescription eye drops refill and grocery store for toilet paper {we are down to one roll} and probably other things.
- Load dishes into NEW WORKING dishwasher!
I can relate to much of this entry. Sending you positive thoughts.

Sometimes being a grown-up stinks. I scream and yell and throw things when nobody is in the house. The rest of the time I control myself. I scream inside my head.
Warning Comment
I’ve been there. Have that temper tantrum, nerf balls work really good. So do balled up socks.
Warning Comment
I am really sorry things are so bad right now. Hope they improve very soon for both of you.

I think that maybe sometimes adults SHOULD yell or scream or throw a mini-tantrum. But only adults like you and I and most of our friends, who are normally very responsible people. ;o) !! hugs, Nicky

I agree that being unable to have tantrums is a great disadvantage of adulthood! But I also find that being an adult, I know how to better communicate. Sometimes, if I just calmly say “I’m having a tantrum,” people will be all sympathetic. When I was five, I couldn’t do that! I hope Fred and your back feel better!
