More Sunshine!

• Today the weather has been wonderful because the sun has been out and the snow is disappearing! I managed to get out to fill the window bird feeders. I haven’t filled the one on my workroom window for so long that the birds have forgotten it! Well, Fred says they will be back tomorrow and I hope he is right. I was thrilled to look in that direction this morning and see the snow there has melted.
• Most of the snow has gone from the deck so soon it will be time to hook up the hose and scrub the outdoor furniture. I wish we had a place to put the chairs away over the winter, but we don’t which means I get to practice making the best of what I have.
• I went to chorus practice last night and enjoyed it even though I have missed three in a row. It was nice to be leaving in the daylight. But I forgot I HAVE to sit in a chair with a pad. This morning my back was killing me!
• I don’t think I have mentioned I had a dental appointment yesterday? It went well in that the tech person had hardly anything to do because I have a lovely Sonicare brush.  She got some of the plaque off with some kind of a sonic cleaner which I didn’t feel at the time but which I think was the source of one of the worst headaches I have had for a long time. I lay on the bed and, eventually slept it off.
• I am still painting.
• I am still reading.
• Next week I have to see the surgeon who replaced my hip. Nothing is wrong. It is just a checkup.

I am grateful for:

1. real sunshine. I still think the SAD light is a Good Thing but it isn’t real sunshine!
