Nude bike ride breaks no laws
By the Associated Press • June 14, 2009
Participants in Saturday’s event say they were trying to tell the naked truth about too much dependence on oil for transportation, and that cycling is healthier for the individual and the planet.
It was the Montpelier version of the World Naked Bike Ride, which is designed to promote bikes in place of cars.

That’s such a funny law…. you can be naked in public, just don’t take off your clothes there. 🙂 Fantastic.

Now there is a fascinating combination of laws: You’re allowed to be naked, but you’re not allowed to undress. Like so many other things, it reminds me why I’m a Libertarian. On another subject entirely, congratulations to you and Fred! (on your tenth anniversary)

Finally getting caught up with my noting and reading! There is a “tradition” on the AT whereby through hikers are supposed to hike nude on the day of the summer solstice. That event occurred when Gov Mark Sanford was supposedly on the trail!!
