On This Day

Today was a very nice day. I washed off and rinsed some of the chairs for sitting out on the deck. Then, I started trying to put the deck umbrella up  but had to get Fred to do it because my fingers were not strong enough to snap the parts together. He also put it up for me. I put out the cushions and sat outside in the shade, reading. I have just finished reading The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillippa Gregory which I enjoyed. I should have known the movie I got from Netflix would be nowhere as good as the book — I was disappointed. But the costumes were very nice.

This evening, Fred took me out to eat. We shared a strawberry sundae, a big thing because I usually don’t have a dessert. Tomorrow, my plan is to put away my sweaters and take out the intermediate and summer clothes. Sunday I have a massage.

I will give this wrist another week and if there is no pain, go back to physical therapy for my hip in the warm pool!

happy. You are not depressed because trouble has come to you, but

trouble has come to you because you are depressed. You can change

your thoughts and feelings, and then the outer things will come to

correspond, and indeed there is no other way of working."
