Snow! Edit for a Walk in the Snow!

  • EDIT: I decided to go for a walk outside around the block. This is not my favorite place to walk because there is a LOT of noise on Main St. and I have to turn up the volume on the IPOd. However, I really enjoyed it today because just as I started out, big, fat, lazy snowflakes started floating down! I LOVE walking in the snow!
  • This morning I found out by catching myself doing it that a jaw dropped in amazement is not just a cliche! I went into the kitchen to load the dishwasher and to make coffee and looked out of the back door window as I usually do to  find that we have had SNOW. Only a light dusting, but there it is!
  • When I checked my email last night before going to bed, there was one from Amazon saying the Dr Who dvds have shipped. Which means that I should have them tomorrow.
  • I had planned to walk outside in addition to the treadmill today. If it snows some more, I will definitely do that. I LOVE walking in falling snow.
  • I was delighted to find my Ipod last night. Not that it was REALLY lost because I knew it was in the house somewhere. It was on on the top shelf of my computer desk where I can’t see anything unless I stand up. I just glanced up there from my seated position and sticking over the edge so I can see it is a new pair of socks I have been looking for!
  • Since I am walking a little bit bit every day, I have noticed something interesting. The energy I used to have that allowed me to get things done, seems to be coming back. Only a little amount compared to what it used to be, but I am happy for any amount. If for nothing else I will continue to walk on the treadmill.

We had flurries this morning. 🙂

We were supposed to get the dusting of snow, but nothing yet, except the cold. The skies are clear now, but there’s a HUGE bank of clouds coming from the west. Maybe some later. I do need to get out more!

I’m jealous. The weather man said we were supposed to get some. I’ve looked outside my window atleast 5 times and each time it just gets a little more disappointing.

Snow outside… brrrrrrrrrrr! (huggles)

I totally understand the welcome extra energy you feel. I love it when that happens!

oooh oooh, please Father Christmas, I want some too! it feels as thought Xmas is coming. Darker, crisper nights. Its time to wind down school though are winding up for xmas. I want to write Xmas cards and Xmas shopping. Must be something wrong with me.

What is snow?

So glad that all your walking is paying off!!! Glad too that you found your ipod. I wish we would get some snow. They predicted flurries the other day but we never did get them. Enjoy your walks in it!! HUgs,M

Snow! There was more of it 50 miles north of here than there is here–so I guess you’ve got tons. Way fun!

November 18, 2008

It snowed a little here today as well 🙂

Exercise def increases energy. Takes a bit to get back into it, though! You sound so happy about the snow and walking in it. NYC is just grey and windy today–I need a hat and gloves! *HUGS*

Thanks for your note… As much as I hate snow there is something magical about walking in the evening with the flakes falling…

One day I’d like to experience walking in snow.
