Day Seven

  1. My motivation is still out there looking for me
  2. I am rereading Gone With the Wind on my Kindle. I should be reading Frenchman’s Creek from a dead-tree book for the book club meeting.
  3. The book club meeting notification resurfaced from a pile of papers this morning. The meeting is next Tuesday!
  4. I walked for 15 minutes this morning on the treadmill. I have very good intentions about doing the same in the afternoon, but right now, it is more often not getting done than getting done.
  5. The temperature here is more like early spring that late fall.
  6. The other choice of books for the book club reading was Rebecca, a book I love. It has just occurred to me that I might be able to get it as a free book {if it is out of copyright} and download it to my computer and then to my Kindle. I have just figured out how to do this.

I LOVE Frenchman’s Creek – actually love almost all of Daphne Du Maurier’s books.

I’ve never read Gone With the Wind. Wow…you can download to your computer and then the Kindle? Is that hard? I have a handicapped friend who is thinking about getting one. Do you know if they have college textbooks available for it? Like law school?

I’ve read “Gone With the Wind” three or four times! :o) !! I am OFTEN not doing things I “should” do. But at least I’m not doing things I “shouldn’t” do too often! :o) !! hugs, Weesprite

🙂

Our weather has been much better than usual.

A free book you can download to your computer and then to your Kindle, bypassing the Kindle Store? That’s pretty cool.

I would love to reread Rebecca … and I really must check out these Kindles!
