Day One

I am going to try to write something every day in November. However, I am not joining the NoMoJo– or is it NoMoJo?– officially because if I commit in writing to this, I will promptly sabotage myself!

Yesterday I did two walks of five minutes and one of fifteen minutes. No, come to think of it, that was the day before. Yesterday I didn’t go on the treadmill at all since I was still plagued by the residual effect of the benign postural vertigo. However, I discovered, or rather, remembered something that really helped. If I drink lots and lots of water during this thing, I find the dizziness seems to go away more quickly. But, of course, the trips to the bathroom increase!  So, this morning I have already drunk three big glasses of water.

Today is my fortnightly massage appointment. I am looking forward to it.

Last night we didn’t have one trick-or-treater, not even the kids next door. Of course, since we had the lights off, … Well, all the more candy for us.

No trick-or-treaters here either. I think they’re just too lazy to make the 1/2 mile trek up our driveway.

Yeah, you sort of have to leave those lights on!

We didn’t have any either. Hope you got GOOD Candy! LOL Hugs,M

We had around 120. No candy this year since the temptation would be too great for Diane. (Actually it would be too great for me too but I’m not diabetic). We gave out pencils and erasers. (Or are they called rubbers in the UK?)

We had a lot of kids, but not as many as we used to. I will tell you as I have told other faves that are doing this challenge, I will try to note frequently, but I won’t be on here daily. Have fun with it!! (((Hugs)))

Ditto. I would sabotage myself as well. I don’t join any of these things, it’s too much of a commitment.

I kept passing kids carrying baskets of candy. After a while, I had to stop in a store to buy the candies I was craving. I was fine for a bit, then craved others. At least I was smart and did NOT buy bags of candy as I was walking around.

none here, either. which was good cause i didn’t have any candy to give out. and i had my lights turned out anyway. take care,

Every year I buy at least 5-6 bags of candy and every year I run out. I refuse to spend the money on more candy, though…I figure $15 worth is more than enough. LOL! I bet we had about 100-125 of those little buggers at my house last night 🙂

I’m trying to commit. I’d like to do it, but knowing my track record! We’ll see. 😉

As my favorite message board for walkers would say…hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! 😀

Drinking lots of water seems to be a good cure or preventative for so many things! And I guess having to pee a lot is not a very big price to pay…. :o) !! I don’t always drink as much as I should, and I need to remember to DO IT. It’s not hard, so why can’t we manage to do it? We never have trick-or-treaters at our house, but yesterday I had some at my office at the campground. Luckily I’dthought to bring in candy to give out! :o) !! hugs, Weesprite

I had a hard time joining the NoJoMo. Some days will be one line!
