Information
Yesterday I did everything that was on my list except go for a walk. I slept late this morning so I used that as an excuse to not go for a walk.
The banana bread was and is lovely. it is a very easy recipe which is mixed up in the bread machine on the dough setting for about five minutes. Then it bakes in the bread machine for about and hour and a half. The only bad thing about it is that bits are burned on to the bread machine pan so I am having to soak it to get them out. Actually, I think I am looking into get another bread machine. This one works still but the pan tends to slip thus causing a lot of rattling.
On Tuesday I go very early — 7:15 am –for my stress test on the treadmill. Today Fred very kindly took me out to the place so I would know where to go. I got directions from MapQuest. There was a map and, of course, the written directions. Now, my problem is that although I prefer written directions, they are absolutely no use to me since I don’t know the names of the roads! And also I am not comfortable reading directions and driving. So, today, Fred looked at the map which is what he prefers and I looked at the written directions, and I now know where the place is.
Until later…

Best wishes with your stress test. I will keep you in my prayers. BTW: Have I mentioned lately that you are one of my heroines? The way you continually embrace life is exactly how and where I want to be when I am where you are in life. (((HUGS)))

It’s always comforting to know where one is going. I hate driving around in circles looking for something.

Oh wow, I used to do that, too…if I had a new place I needed to go in Portland. I hated going into Portland with all the one way streets…Portland, ME….that is when I lived there. Good luck with the stress test.

I alwyas try to do a trial run before I go somewhere, especially if I have to go at night!

I think banana breads (and ‘flavoured’ breads in general) are more common in America than they are in the UK. (Well, you have know about both cultures, so you’ll probably be able to tell me if I’m right or wrong.) We used to have an American woman at work who would bake banana bread and bring it into the office, and I loved it. Then she left for the unforgivably selfish reason of career advancement, and my supply was cut off!

I like to use maps better only because MapQuest has been wrong so many times when I depended solely upon its information. I love banana bread!! Especially still warm from the oven. Delicious!

I love my bread maker. It bakes a very strange shaped loaf though.
