What I Did Today
This morning I gave the kitchen a really good cleaning. It was time! I cleaned all the top surfaces, and put stuff way. I cleaned out the microwave which wasn’t actually a big job since I usually give it a quick wipeover in the mornings while the dishwasher is doing its thing. I sprayed the white cabinets with a cleaner and wiped them dry. Then I swept the floor, followed by a dry-mopping of the floor. Finally, I wet-mopped the floor. I intended to strip the bed and put on clean sheets but it is going to have to wait one more day for that. I ran out of energy too soon.
I have got almost everything set back up on the IMac except the Bamboo pad. It is not difficult to set up. I have already done the software bit so all I have to do is to plug in the pad. I am not sure if I mentioned that when I was at the Apple store a whole ago I bought myself a new trackball? My old one had the ball on the left to be used by the thumb. Over time I found that I got what felt like a cramp in the bottom part of my thumb so when I saw this one with the ball in the middle, I got it. It is a little different from the old one not only in the placement of the ball but also in clicking. The old one was a click-once to open sites; this one requires a double click. Actually in thinking about this, there maybe a software change I can make… I will look later. But there is no doubt that the ball in the middle is very easy to use. I put the original one on Freecycle and there should be someone coming for it this afternoon or evening.
Fred went to the store to get stuff we needed and came back with this stuff and APPLES! I love this time of the year when we can get Vermont apples!
