What Did I Do Today?

Well, I must have done SOMETHING today…

One thing I did was to download a rather nice program called Funtastic Photos. I played with it for a bit and then decided to buy it. It is very like Paint Shop Pro but for the Mac, of course. One thing that is a tiny bit worrying is that I got two emails from the site acknowledging my payment and giving me a key. I am wondering if that means they charged my credit card twice? Well, the good thing about banking on line is that I will be able to see that in an hour or two.

Ok, what else did I do? Oh, I remember; I made scones and ate far too many of them! I went out to the tomato-in-a-pot and picked a couple of tomatoes. Well, actually, I only picked one; the other had fallen off but fortunately into the pot rather than on the ground.

I have done a lot of reading. It has been cool and sunny again and I sat outside with the Kindle and  finished the mystery by Christoper Moore that was set in Thailand and read a bit more of Ken Follett’s Pillars of the Earth.

Tomorrow I am off to have an MRI to see if I really have a brain! Well, no, actually it is at the request of the eye doctor to rule out brain tumors! It is not that he actually thinks I HAVE a brain tumor, you understand. It is just something he likes to have done in the early stages of glaucoma.

I am hoping for the best. Bring earplugs as MRIs are very loud!

Okay…I don’t get the connection between tumors and glaucoma, unless he’s talking about eye tumors.

Mmmm…scones. I’ve been obsessed with the raspberry white chocolate ones lately. Pure heaven.

A day filled with chores and a few bits of time to reflect are the days that refresh me. I hope it is so for you.

That software program sounds interesting. MRIs…scary.

I hate body tests of any sort. They are annoying.

I will have to look for that program since I am on the Mac too. Good luck with your test. Taking precautions is a good idea. Take care.

Scones are very difficult to limit on any basis I find – especially cherry ones! Actually any kind falls into that category to be honest ……. Good luck with the MRI!
