A Picture and Other Stuff.

I have been playing with Photoshop Essentials today and the few photographs I have. All my other photographs are on my old computer. This morning I actually stopped at the place that has the old computer and was told he is having problems getting stuff off the hard drive and on to an external drive. I will definitely back up any I have on this Mac. The picture below is a photo of the chair I sit in on sunny days and I have played around with the settings in Photoshop Elements to make it look like a painting. I have to go out and take more pictures before I can play with Corel Painter Essentials!

A very interesting thing happened this morning. I was fiddling around with Fred’s Windows XP laptop trying to make it recognize the Olympus card reader. I had downloaded a driver from the Olympus site but until this morning, I was unable to make the computer recognize the card reader.  Then suddenly as I was poking around trying to tell the computer what this new hardware was exactly, I saw "Human Interface Device." Now, I had run into this lovely phrase before when I was trying to make my old computer recognise the old Wacom pad. So, I clicked on this, and, Yes! That was what it was. The driver was recognised and now Fred can take pictures and see them on his computer! I ALMOST  went into the bedroom and woke him up to tell him, but since it was around 6 am, good sense prevailed!

This morning I went out to the bank get cash to pay Beth for six more massages which will take me up to the end of this year going every two weeks. I really thought that I wouldn’t feel any difference going once a month instead of twice a month but my skin certainly knows the difference. I go again this coming Sunday.
