List

  • Tomorrow is my birthday.
  • It is also the day I should be getting my Kia back.
  • Today I went out and bought an outside umbrella and a stand to put it in. The stand isvery heavy but I got it and the umbrella on to the deck
  • Fred put it all together and we sat out in the shade for a while today
  • Today I gave the microwave a good cleaning
  • We still have mice. I bought some mouse poison today.
  • I have spent a lot of the day reading.
  • I went down to the post office and mailed Water for Elephants to my future DIL today. If I wanted to mail it overnight, it would cost me over $22 which is considerably more than the book cost!  I settled for book mail.
  • And I bought some one-cent stamps.
  • Fred cooked steak and potatoes for supper tonight. I am pleasantly full.

I liked the book Water For Elephants very much. I hope your DIL likes it. Mice give me the heebie jeebies. I don’t like them anywhere near me. Live and let live unless it’s a critter inside my house. LOL

Happy Birthday in advance!

Happy Birthday!! One day early 🙂 ♥

$22?! No way. That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of. I’m quite glad that wasn’t the cost for regular shipping. Thank you for sending it!

Mouse poison? What about a trap for the mice? Or a devie that produces a high-pitched sound (that humans can’t hear) that will keep away rodents and pests? I think they’re fairly inexpensive. Water for Elephants seems interesting. I often read, but I’m not much of a noter. Have a good day.

Happy Birthday!

happy birthday tomorrow!!! if we have mice, we use a nokill trap. we had mice in the basement and caught one plus 2 voles. raymond had to buy 60 1 cent stamps. he just bought a bunch of 41 centers. i wish he’d buy the forever stamps. granted 60 cents isn’t much but over a few years it adds up. take care,
