Snow, Snow, & More Snow!

We are snowed in again! It has snowed all day today. At first we thought it was going to end about 4 pm and we thought we could perhaps get out then, but then the forecast changed {I think someone looked out of the window!} to snow until about 8 pm. I really DO hope we can get out tomorrow because we are out of just about EVERYTHING! I think I may have enough flour to make one loaf,…

I have been out several times today and swept snow off the cars so if the landlord clears the drive {again} and if it stops snowing , we MUGHT be able to get to the store tomorrow! Unfortunately, there is no grocery delivery in our little town so all we can do is for me to walk to the gas station on Main St which has vastly overpriced necessities like milk and bread. Fred also has to get himself to the the clinic to get his blood tested before he has a doctor’s appointment some time next week and he has to have his blood checked before then!

Even if the snow stops completely tomorrow, I am not going to bother to go in to the college for the Italian class. If we can get out to the store tomorrow and back home safely, that is enough for me!

I am hoping and praying for a Snow Day tomorrow! I need a day to get ready for our trip!

Yes, it’s best to stay safe. I hope you can keep warm too. I love the idea of snow because it’s so rare here – but I appreciate that the reality of snow isn’t much fun much of the time.

I hope you will be able to get out safely tomorrow.

It’s a raging blizzard here right now. I hope it clears up soon.

Please stay safe! And warm, and dry. The weather here is sloppy — rain and snow, and probably icing by now. I’m really looking forward to spring this year…

We are supposed to get 4-8″ tonight here so I hate to say but I think it might be headed your way. I thought we were supposed to be going thru global warming? It has been a long hard winter here. Although last summer was sunny and hot! So now we pay. Good luck digging your way out and I hope our snow misses you. We still have March to go thru and that is the worst month for snow for us.

Always scary to be out of stuff when the weather is bad. Hopefully you can get out tomorrow.

It has rained here. Freezing rain my favorite, I am being sarcastic, (sorry) I almost lost it twice today driving into work and Thank the good Lord I was able to get back under control. It’s frightening. I wasn’t going that fast but the raining and ice with a lot of water on the road. It made the drive fun filled. I hope you get out tomorrow. Blessings.

Both of you take good care of yourselves!

Is there a kind soul you could call on to pick up some staples for you (bread, flour, milk, eggs, etc.)? I hope there is! (((Hugs)))

Wow! You guys got hit hard with all that snow.

Snow is a pain. I have more problems with the bitter cold. I don’t like getting out of the house or van when it hurts to breath.

My gosh! I do hope it stops snowing soon! hugs, Weesprite

We really haven’t had any snow at all this Winter. Well two very light falls which were away in a few hours. I hope it clears up soon so life can be easier for you!

Oooo, I want a snow day here. LOL! But any good thing, when given too much of, is not a good thing anymore. 🙂 I hope you can get out soon!!!

I can’t imagine having so much snow!!!

We, too’ have lots of snow, ice, and slush. It has been difficult and dangerous to drive. I have to be to work at 6:00 and the plows are often not out yet when I get going. If there is no school, it seems like the plows don’t come at all! I am anxious for Spring!

RYN: yes, PINK! lol!! I’ve always despised pink, until now! 🙂 I figure she’ll probably be a tomboy like I was, but for now… she’ll be fru-fru girly. 😉

The pink will be toned down though, once the crib bedding comes in (if I can ever stop fighting with this ebay seller!!)… the bedding is black & cream toile, and I’m putting a black & cream (maybe striped?) window seat cushion, and black curtains over the window seat. So it won’t be TOO bad once it’s entirely done!! 🙂 I hope. LOL!
