So, since I thought I had an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow, I thought I had better check to see if I needed to pre register. And it turns out that my appointment is NOT tomorrow at 10 but on Thursday at 3:20! And I do not need to go to radiology for an X-Ray at all. I have NO idea from where I got the information about Tuesday, at 10 and go to radiology first!
Next then I wonder if I am going to get blood drawn today or was I just imagining that, too? So I call the Visiting Nurses and am told my name is not on the list, but, "wait a minute…let me check the orders…" she said. And it turned out that yes, I AM supposed to have blood taken today but somehow it wasn’t on the list! Sheesh! I am expecting a call back re this blood thing. I told Fred that the surgeon is not tomorrow and not at 10 am and he was quite pleased {since he will be taking me} that it is at what he calls a "civilized hour!"

LOL! to me, ONLY 10 a.m. is a civilized hour. Actually, 7:00 is even MORE civized because the day is half gone by 10:00. LOL!

L at the civilized hour. Fred sounds like us. Hmmm, no xray? They took an xray of Es hip at each appointment to make sure it was healing properly. Here’s hoping you don;t get the ” evil, no good @ blood drawing ” nurse! Hugs, M

It is odd that you would recall the time and day like that and it would be so totally different. I did that once on a dental appt., but I thought it was for one day and it actually it was the day before. Oops!

It might not be your fault. My prosthodontist’s people are constantly changing the times of my appointments, and then not telling me until they call me the prior day to “remind” me of the appointment.

I’d suspect that someone told you you had an appointment but they forgot to enter it in the computer. I mean, how could you invent the whole thing with all those details? This actually happened to a neighbor who went to the apt. and waited, and waited – never got called in. It turned out that the person at the desk had stashed her papers under the desk and forgot about them. My neighbor quit her doctor and went over to mine. 🙂

I had to laugh at Fred’s comment about the civilized hour 🙂

Fred has the right idea. 10:00 is the soonest I like to leave for errands….11:00 is even better 😉

I guess it is an age thing. I like morning appointments with the children because they aren’t tired. I like afternoon appointments because I don’t have to go back to work afterwards when I am tired!
