Bah!

  • I overdid it yesterday and feel not-good today so I am {reluctantly} taking it easy today.
  • I am on the last book from the library
  • I have just taken a nap and still feel tired
  • I want to eat something but I don’t know what
  • I HATE weekend television—actually, I don’t like weekday television too much either but at least I get to see reruns of Judging Amy.
  • I am irritable because there is so much to do and I can’t do any of it.
  • tomorrow a visiting nurse {hopefully not the "I can’t find your vein even after three painful sticks" E} will be coming to take yet more blood from me.
  • Tuesday will be a month since the surgery
  • Tuesday I have an appointment with the surgeon who did the hip replacement
  • I want my life back.
  • I am bored. I am not used to being bored…
  • Ok, enough of this self pity. I am out of here…

It isn’t a bad thing that you are a little sore today. You are going to get that way as you push yourself. Just don’t push too hard.

you made the front page! i logged on and your entry was the 1st one i saw on the front page. So rest a bit. Your body often knows best. I saw that on a Cambells’s soup commercial. The best you can find on tv is Judging Amy. Are you familiar with The Cable TV? j/k actually I’ve caught that show a few times myself. I love whats her name. The mother, from Cagney ANd Lacey

Let’s have a pity party…shall we? I’m actually raring to go this morning. I mopped the kitchen floor. That about wiped me out, tho. Taking it easy again. I’d like to wear pants today. That is my goal. ha ha Feel better.

🙂 patience. I understand though – remember writing something like that this time last year myself.

Bah days are no fun at all; I sympathize and hope tomorrow is a MUCH better day for you! hugs, Weesprite

I don’t think you’re wrong to want to get going again. A month is a long time to be laid up & you have to be bored out of your mind. Hopefully, the surgeon will give you a green light to add some activities. Here’s hoping! Anna

I see you’ve put your three minutes of self-pity to good use today! LOL!!! That’s a joke…I’m not criticising. I totally understand the impatience…I’m the same way. Butyou have worked so hard and come so far, you deserve a day of rest, and it is Sunday, after all. 😀

Sympathy from here! But at least for you it’s because you HAD the surgery. For me, it’s because I need it and haven’t done it yet. For someone who’s not even at a month yet, you’re doing swell! Hang in there!!!!! Love to you! ~M

It’s so hard to take it easy when we start feeling a little better from surgery. I’ll never forget when I had my hysterectomy, my doctor told me… you only have one chance to heal right. And even then, I know I overdid it. It’s HARD to make yourself sit still, lay down, ignore the chores and responsibilities and the boredom. So I really feel for you. But I hope you’ll be more successful at that than I was.

You’ve been so upbeat about this whole thing I think you’re allowed to have a down day. You did a lot the other day with all the laundry. I hope you can just rest and let Fred wait on you hand and foot for the day 🙂 Take care,

Sorry you’re not feeling too good today. Surgery takes its toll on our bodies that’s for sure. Just kick back and take it easy today. You deserve it!! In a few months you’ll be up and around, and in Italy no less!!!! Then you’ll be glad that this is all said and done!!! Hang in there! Huge hugs, M

Oh boy, I’m so sorry that this is taking so long, but this recovery business is important.

You sound like a wonderful lady I would enjoy getting to know! Hang in there and you will soon be back to new.

My dad has a nurse come over once a fortnight to take his blood. I know how annoying it can be.
