A Note at 3 a. m.

It is 3 am and I am awake because I have taken two long naps during the daytime hours.

I have also loaded the dishwasher! What is so difficult about having to be aware of the angle between my leg and my body is having to think things out step by step. So, since I have discovered how to bend forwards safely, {as upper body moves forward, left leg moves backwards} I put it into action and loaded the dishwasher up and it is now humming away! I think I will probably ask Fred to empty it, however. Or maybe I will do it tomorrow when I get up because I am always at my best in the morning!

I have brushed my teeth and now I and my walker are off to bed….

I am up at three a.m. just because. :o) !! I hope you have a good sleep! Also….I recall that Fred has a name for his walker; have you named yours? hugs, Weesprite

You seem to be doing just fine!

after you are healed and walking again, you’ll get your sleep cycle all straightened out. you sure can get around without making much noise and not waking fred!! take care,

You’re making excellent progress. Loading the dishwasher involves a lot of bending and straightening. Doing that gives me a lower back ache every time.

My Dad calls his walker his “Cadillac”… Glad you’re doing well. Sweet dreams! Love to you! ~M

I love how you are up and about and “doing” — trying to be as normal as possible will speed the healing, I’m sure! You’re an inspiration!

You are making such wonderful progress! Just don’t overdo it there young lady! 😉

You seem to be doing so well. I have memories of my trusty walker when I broke my ankle…such a wonder in getting me to where I wanted to be and I know yours must be, too. Take care and know many are wishing you well who don’t visit daily here.

You seem to be doing a little better with each passing day. So glad that you are trying to do things rather than letting the surgery ” rule ” over you. Hugs, M

I have a 19-month-old who likes to party at 3 a.m. You two could make wonderful companions. Would you like to move in for a bit? 🙂

Bless your heart! I’m sure you needed those naps though! I’m loving that quote up there. It’s so true.

Sounds like your recovery is going well.

🙂 gosh, 3am – hope you are now sleeping late.

Enjoy your naps 🙂 Happy Birthday to Fred! You sound like you’re progressing really well with your healing and being resourceful in figuring out how to get things done. Some people (certainly not you) would just say that they can’t do it!

Have a good sleep!

I remember putting my back out loading a dishwasher. (Of course I suffer from an old back injury) dishwashers should in my opinion be up higher. Take care

I wish I was best in the morning!
