First Pictures
This is the barrel at the bottom of the steps leading to the deck. There are geraniums {very little bloom as yet} and a few impatiens around the edge. Those pretty purple things are chives which wintered over from last year.
Next is a closeup of one of the two hanging baskets. Again, geraniums in the center and a few impatiens around the sides.
And here you can see two of the balcony boxes on the corner of the deck.
Next is the slightly grubby white pot I put a couple of leftover impatiens into.
I will take more pictures in a couple of weeks when everything has settled in and is looking a bit lusher.
And, finally, here is the little garden our landlord’s girlfriend put in about a week ago. There will, she tells me, be sunflowers against the back wall eventually.

Oooooo, pretty! Are those lilac’s I see in that first shot? I so miss the smell of lilac’s!!!! Geranium’s are one of my fav’s. My grandmother had a thing for the red ones. Everytime I smell them I think of her. Love to you! ~M

Lovely! I do enjoy garden pictures and yours is so pretty. I have chives also, the kind you do and also garlic chives. The garlic chives have a very delicate white, star shaped bloom.
