Yesterday w/Pix

A really strange thing happened last night. My cell phone rang and when I answered, someone said, "Paddy?" Now, this is my childhood nickname and the only person in the whole world who calls me that is my brother-in-law in England. On the phone was someone from UPS telling me there was a package and that the number was wrong. He told me the address and there was a number 1 in front of the true number so he said they would re-deliver today. But what *I* want to know is how on earth did they get my cell phone number? I am thinking that my BIL sent me something for my birthday because he is the only person who would address a parcel to me as "Paddy."

We went out to eat again last night this time for my real birthday and I actually had dessert–a piece of home-made strawberry and rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream. Fred helped me eat it and it was delicious. But I did overeat and I notice that I have been up an hour and I am not hungry!

We got quite a lot done yesterday. Fred tried on all the shirts I had found in the storage container and sorted them out into Freecycle and Keep-these piles. The next steps are for me to list these clothes on Freecycle and for him to clean out one of his dresser drawers for the t-shirts. The shirts with collars can go on hangers but somehow, I never feel right in putting t-shirts on hangars!

Happy birthday again! I love yellow roses, and those are GORGEOUS!!! Does your BIL have your cell phone number? Maybe they called him, but you’re right…that is kind of strange!
