Plans
This morning I have ingredients for a loaf in the machine and in a couple of hours, it will be bread.
I am planning on driving up to the store to get milk and then down to the library to get books. I am pretty sure this will get done since you know how much I love driving my new car! However, I am also planning to continue with the Great Paper Disposal and since you all also know how much I don’t like cleaning up, this may not get done!
Ok, a list. I cannot operate without a list…
- grocery store. Milk and possibly another loaf of bread? Chocolate cake?
- library. Take books back and get books
- continue with paper disposal
- there is something else I had in mind to do when I am out but right this minute, I have no idea what it is! Oh, yes! I remember. Out there in the world there is a little device that will allow me to plug my IPod mini into a USB port on my computer. I thought I might use this as an excuse to go to our local Mac store and drool over their stuff! And then, of course, since Barnes and Noble’s is in the same area, I could go there too!
I really get quite a kick out of getting more than one thing done at a time. It has just occurred to me that I can’t go anywhere until the bread is done. The machine will keep it warm but we have found that the crust is not as good as we like it {dark and crisp} if the machine goes on into the warming cycle. So, there is a very good chance that I will get more paper packed into recyclable bags while the bread is finishing!
Talking about recycling, tomorrow someone is coming to pick up empty cd jewel cases. I had no idea that someone out there had a use for them, but when I saw that someone was asking on Freecycle, it gave me the incentive to clean up the huge pile I have in the workroom and in checking that they all were empty, I found several that I had forgotten about and that I put on my IPod the other night.

Back soon!
I like baking things because so long as it is in the oven, I can say “I’m busy cooking” and have a really good excuse for not going out to do anything! I hope you have a lovely day! hugs, Weesprite

I had a bread machine but never used it so gave it away. What type of books will you get at the library?

You always sound motivated. I love lists, too. I feel like I’ve accomplished a lot by following them.

I like those tidbits at the end. I wonder if the increase in MS has anything to do with the increase of birth control pills… Hmmmm. Anyway.. got sidetracked there…. I love drooling over techno-toys, too. I’d be voting for a doo-hickey that attaches to the iPod and turns it into a recorder. I don’t know what model yours is, but I know they make them for certain models. I love havingone that I can record lectures with. I can go back and make excellent notes and learn much more in my classes.

I ended up giving away my bread machine. Then when I moved here I kicked myself in the ass because I wanted it to make some bread. BLEH! 🙁 I am so a list person too. It helps me stay on task because otherwise I am off the wall and forget everything.

that news bid about MS was interesting 🙂 And I make lists all the time, then forget about them 🙁

You’re always doing so much. Even when you’re not busy it seems like you’re busy!

We have a bread machine, but I’m not crazy about using it — it makes HUGE loaves that are round, which makes things awkward. I’m surprised about the jewel cases, I would have never thought that someone would have a use for them. Of course, chocolate cake!

Your lists are so detailed. Mine pale in comparison. I clicked on your “This Day in History” link and read up on Antoine Lavoisier. It’s very intersting and sad. Did you read the part on his execution? Gruesome, but also fascinating.

I admire you. I get nothing done these days.

Oooh…I like what you’ve added to the end of the entry.
