Stuff Done & Still To Do.

This is what I did today and what I will do tomorrow:

  • found a couple of boxes of Fred’s shoes and dragged them out into the living room for him to make decisions.
  • found a box of my shoes and put them back in the closet again {Well, it was a decision!}
  • opened a plastic storage box that I was sure had Fred’s summer shirts. It had mine in there
  • bought a lot of potting soil
  • put the house plants out in the sun for the day. Unfortunately, since it is going to drop to 30 tonight, I had to bring them in again a few minutes ago.
  • gave the kitchen a really good cleaning including the floor which really needed it.
  • talked to my brother-in-law in England. I send him snail mail every two weeks or so and he calls me.
  • bought crackers, light bulbs and other assorted necessities of life. This was more difficult than it needed to be because the store was reorganizing everything. Why do they DO that!
  • put a 40 watt bulb in the lamp that shines on my keyboard.
  • I didn’t sort out and throw away the papers I will never need again. Well, they will still be there tomorrow!
  • My car insurance bill arrived. Just in case you were wondering, there is a considerable difference in insurance costs between a ten year old car and a new one. Well, I knew what it was going to be. I am just not thrilled at having to pay it! I will pay it tomorrow.
  • I still haven’t sent the email so I can be picked up in Lucca. I will do theis tomorrow
  • tomorrow morning I will drive to the library and change my books

Well, that’s it. I fear this is more dull and boring than usual but if I don’t write these things down, I find myself thinking I did nothing all day.

Insurance is one of those necessary evils. We always dread seeing our automobile insurance come in because of carrying our teenaged son on there plus we have 4 vehicles!

Oh, that makes me think. I should put our houseplants outside tomorrow. 30degrees? Brrr. Heck, we have the fan in the bedroom window and it will probably stay there all night. Only supposed to be in the 60s tonight! Hugs, M

At least my auto insurance guy sent me a birthday card and it even arrived on my birthday. 🙂 – – – –

cars just suck money away. You are terribly organised to be writing to Lucca already.

I hate it when stores re-organize, too! Why do they do it? Just so we’ll have to stay in them longer and wander around more? :oO !! Here’s wishing you a lovely day today! hugs, Weesprite
