A Good Morning

Time: 8:30

Energy Level: I have a lot of energy this morning fueled by the fact that the class today is the penultimate one!

Positives for the day:

  • no snow!
  • I get to drive my new car
  • only one more class to go

Physically I feel: About the same as usual

Mentally I feel: reasonably intelligent!

I slept pretty well last night despite the fact that I was feeling very anxious when I went to bed. This was, of course, fueled by the huge amount of money I just shelled out for my tickets and insurance. So, of course, I thought I would have anxiety dreams, but much to my surprise, I didn’t. I guess acknowledging why I was so anxious last night defused the dreams.

Anyway, I got up this morning, made coffee, got dressed, had my breakfast and went into the workroom to practice my speech. Panic! My cards were not on my desk! I tore that desk up looking for them and then decided that I had more than enough time to do them over. So, I had just finished the first one when I glanced over to the computer desk, which is right beside the desk where I do homework, and there they were, tucked under thekeyboard where I had put them when I was practicing last night! But, since I had started doing them over, I thought I would finish them and at least they would be neater! So, I did. Then I practiced saying them aloud a couple of time.

Last night I downloaded the pictures that the classroom teacher took to my Mac Book and then sent them to the printer. I was in the bedroom and the printer is in the workroom so I didn’t get to see them until this morning. I didn’t realize that my color cartridge was almost empty and except for the first two, they have come out to have a rather distressing magenta cast! I had printed them upon ordinary paper because I knew I was out of glossy. Well, after class today I will not only get another color cartridge, I will get glossy paper too since these photographs are an integral part of that five-page paper due on Thursday!

QUOTATION: If your ship doesn’t come in, swim out to it!

It’s SO frustrating to forget where we put things!! I sympathize with you on that one! And about being anxious anytime we spend money. At the last sweat lodge I attended, one thing I prayed for was to stop getting that way anytime we spend money. And it feels like that’s helped….I seem to be doing it a lot less! hugs, and wishing you a wonderful day, Weesprite

Oh, I hate when I lose stuff. Glad you found the notes!

Heck, I lose stuff all the time, especially my marbles. Everytime I think I’ve got them all in order, several go missing.

Oh my, I misplace things all the time. LOL Glad you found them though!! I cracked up at the note you left. Yup, sometimes it does feel like the infernos of hell down here. L Hugs, M

I know that you will feel as elated as I do right now when that last class is completed! I hate when I misplace stuff. It has happened more recently than I care to admit here. (((Hugs)))
