Scheduling for the Next Few Days

If I don’t count today, I have only two more classes.

This is how the next few days are going. This is mostly for my benefit but feel free to read along if you are interested.

Today, make sure everything I need for Friday is out at the end of the table. This will be :

  • little box of scratch paper
  • works sheet to which I have to add the little section on telling the time
  • outline of what I will be saying {for me}
  • camera. I am thinking I will take the little cameras this time. Last time I took the big I-can-get-right-up-in-your-face camera and she took only shots from a distance.

Tomorrow:

  1. get to the school in time to have the worksheet for the kids run off. There are 14 kids in the class when they are all there. I will get 20 copies because someone ALWAYS messes up.
  2. give the instruction to the class. {I am going to teach them numbers in Italian with a little bit about time tucked on the end.}

Saturday:

  • start work on speech {in Italian} about class
  • start work on five page reflection paper
  • print out pictures–I will need a copy for the fourth grade class, a copy to show  to my class when I give  the speech and a copy to add to my reflection paper.

Sunday:

  • Continue practicing the speech
  • continue working on the paper

Monday:

  • as Sunday but paying more attention to the speech

Tuesday:

  • give speech to class with photos

Wednesday:

  • finish paper

Thursday:

  • hand in paper…
  • go home and collapse

QUOTATION: If your ship doesn’t come in, swim out to it!
