Quick Morning Entry Before School

  • It snowed again last night. I am SO tired of this. It looks like a dusting on my car. Soon I will have to go out, clean off the snow and start my car.
  • The temperature here is 3 degrees and feels like minus 13. Have I mentioned how tired I am of this?
  • I got a cryptic email this morning from la prof. I can’t decide if she is telling me I didn’t turn in my summary of my project, or if what I turned in was not correct. Anyway, I printed out another copy of it {although I would have bet money on the fact that I DID turn it in} and will get it sorted out this morning when I go to school.
  • My project is teaching fourth graders to count to 20 in Italian.
  • This morning I thought I had lost my cell phone —yes, again!  I was considering calling it to find it. I looked one more place before I did this, and yes, there it was plugged in and recharging in the bedroom. I am glad I didn’t call it because Fred would have been blasted awake by the Hallelujah Chorus which is my current ring tone!
  • Today at 2:40 I go to have my teeth cleaned. It doesn’t hurt but I don’t like having it done.
  • Reminder to self to take an updated list of medications with me.
  • Now, back to studying my word list from Pasta per due.

QUOTATIONS FOR THIS MONTH: "There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so."

Hamlet 2.2.255-256

“Every life form seems to strive to its maximum except human beings. How tall will a tree grow? As tall as it possibly can. Human beings, on the other hand, have been given the dignity of choice. You can choose to be all or you can choose to be less. Why not stretch up to the full measure of the challenge and see what all you can do?” Jim Rohn (motivational speaker/philosopher)

It’s nice that your prof emailed you though if something wasn’t quite right. Mine only lets us know after the fact with a deduction of points! Here’s hoping for warm weather ahead for you! Of course, in Vermont I’m not sure that’s going to happen any time soon.

Hal—le-luja! I love that song. I can imagine Fred jumping out of bed. I turn my off at night and when I charge it, so that wouldn’t have helped. I occasionally leave it in the car and can’t find it, and then I DO call it.

*pictures Fred leaping out of bed, eyes popping like saucers, to the tune of The Hallelujah Chorus* :o) !! I’m glad you didn’t call it, too! :o) !! hugs, Weesprite

I’m with the other two noters. When I read that you had thought about calling your cell phone I could just picture poor Fred. L Have a good one. Hugs, M

Whoa, that would have been a rude awakening for Fred! LOL Another great tune for that job would have been, “Good Morning Sunshine”. :)No one ever said having your teeth cleaned would be fun. Oh yes, my granddaughter did. Personally I hate it. My BP shoots up through the ceiling when I go to the dentist.

I hope that you have fun teaching the kids. I am very tired of the cold.. When I heard the temp in your state. I thought of you. Its hard to believe it was fifty degrees last Saturday down at the shore here. It’s so cold now. Keep warm. I am tired of this too.
