A List

  • I am going for a massage this afternoon.
  • I have found my large 12x zoom camera; I have not as yet found my large card to put in it. This is a bit worrying because those things are expensive.
  • there is boiled milk outside in the snow cooling. I will put it into the pots and turn it into yogurt before I go.
  • I lost a check and thought I had thrown it out earlier. Then I found it again.
  • the timer just buzzed so I filled the yogurt pots and put them in the incubator. They will go into the refrigerator this evening and will be delicious tangy yogurt tomorrow.
  • eating a pot of home-made yogurt a day is doing wonders for my digestive and elimination systems.
  • I called my brother-in-law in England this morning .Well, it was morning by my time and afternoon by his.
  • I have finished the grammar homework for two weeks. At this moment, I officially hate Italian grammar.
  • No, what I hate is this new grammar book. It has some good things about it but it jumps around a lot
  • I have more homework to do which I will do tomorrow.
  • I HAVE mentioned I am going for a massage, right? I certainly need it.

QUOTATIONS FOR THIS MONTH: Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Boy do I need a massage! And I love those quotes.

I’d love to have a massage. 🙂 P.S. Did Mike’s check clear? I hate to be nosey. He owes me $200 and he keeps telling me it hasn’t cleared. I guess it doesn’t matter now that he’s gone. 🙁

MMM, enjoy that massage!!!

I need to make some lists myself. . .

I think I need a massage, too, but it’s not looking like it’s in my future! I hope you enjoyed yours.

Here is the website for the time zones: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/ How do you make homemade yogurt? I want to do that. The commercial stuff has too much sugar in it and I thought I could control that by using splenda or something. I am glad to be back also. hugs and more hugs to you. Who is lucca I missed something I know. r

Yogurt is very good for the innards. I’m glad you’re feeling more evened out because of it. Take me with you to the massage, okay? I give ’em, but I don’t often get ’em these days.

Enjoy!

*huggs* I would love a massage right about now, had a quickie at the mall, not enough though.

February 25, 2007

Enjoy your massage!

Thanks for your nice note! Actually the shelves came with the window, it’s called a garden window. I’ve wanted one almost my whole life (sounds dramatic, but true!) and last May I finally got one!

I love English grammar – I wonder how I would feel about learning another language’s grammar – hmmmm….

ryn: I can’t schedule conferences for that time. Since I’d be meeting with the ISS kids for those conferences, I’d be told to wait or do it after. My job is completely unimportant to these people. As for the book, I left you a note about it the day after or the day that I did it. I can’t remember what day, but I’ll try to find the note. It was awhile ago. I know that our post office said it would take several weeks to get there.

February 26, 2007

I jsut found the note saying I was sending it out on the 6th or 7th. I know for a fact I sent it out by the 7th. She should have it by now… or if not by now, but Weds this week. Our post office is EXCEEDINGLY slow. When I sent it they said it could take 3-4 weeks. Because it’s so far away.

ryn (part two): In fact, on Friday when he made me go down there, I was working VERY hard to coordinate a federal test that is happening THIS Thursday. His exact words were, “You can take your work with you and do it in ISS.” The real kicker in all of it is- we have an in-house substitute teacher that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING all day long. She could be the one to relieve the ISS teacher, but she just does pretty much nothing instead.

I am so sorry about your hip hurting and the fact that you can’t walk. I, also, love to walk, but I have days when my legs hurt so much that I can just make it through work. I am not sure what my options are, although I think the knee replacements will eventually win. Meanwhile, I will take pain pills until I can’t take the pain anymore. It is discouraging, isn’t it!

Which part do you hate most? Thank you for the info. Actually, the reason I couldn’t do a hyperlink is because I’m using the Opera browser, which doesn’t allow for such things on this site. I might switch to Firefox.

What courage you have to teach young minds like that for so long. It must have kept you young, for you are far from old now.

February 28, 2007

I love the quotes, I hope your massage was awesome.

You are making me jealous! I certainly wish I could go for a massage. But being six months pregnant, I just can’t figure out how I would lay on my stomach! What is funny about Abbey is that this has been an issue on her mind for months and months. Last November, we were working through these same issues with her. She wasn’t in a place to handle the emotions, and ended up running away. We didn’t find her for two weeks!
