Later Today

This morning when I got up, I noticed I was achey. Actually, achier than usual. I took my usual morning pills and went for  a walk when Leslie came but after Fred left for his 11:30  visit to his kidney doctor, I actually went back to bed and slept for about an hour and a half. And that, apparently, was what my body needed because the aches have subsided to a normal low level. But my steps for the day are low. Oh, well, there is tomorrow…
I am doing much better in my review of numbers in Italian. With the exception of the numbers with fours in them about which I seem to have some weird block, I can write all the numbers in order up to 40 and also in alternate columns of odds and evens! Tomorrow I will continue with counting in tens and hundreds…

I am reading book one of Robin Hobbs’ new trilogy The Soldier Son. It was on my Amazon wish list and my daughter-in-law bought it for me. The author is doing her usual good job of developing the characters and the world they live in methodically. I will buy book two which is out but then I will have to wait for book three.
I just had a nice chat with my younger son on AIM. I actually had forgotten I had that program. If anyone wants to occasionally exchange a few words with me, let me know in a note and I will give you my AIM name!
I am smelling oranges…Fred must be eating one. Ok, I guess I will get one too before I go to bed…

Glad you have slowed down to smell the oranges…oh, that was supposed to be smell the roses. Oranges are wonderful though, aren’t they?

Mmm, an orange will hit the spot for me, too. Good for you on the Italian numbers.

Rest is sometimes the very best medicine! And oranges are the next best thing 😉

Joe bought a whole crate of oranges…. as he does every year….and again I had to remind him, “but Joe… none of us eats oranges!” What does he think at such times?! I wish you were closer; I’d give you and Fred oranges! hugs, Weesprite

I had to laugh when I read about Fred and the orange because I believe that oranges are, well, contagious! They smell so good that they’re hard to resist, and there’s nothing quite like a fresh orange.

I haven’t used AIM in ages. Don’t know if I even still have it. Actually, I haven’t chatted with anyone since school started. No time! AArgh! I’m going to check, though, because there has been a time or two that I wished we could chat about something…

Glad you’re feeling less achey. I’m really enjoying your adventures with Italian. Find that I even understand some of it once in awhile! I was just thinking the other day that I need to hit Yahoo Messenger m ore often… am missing my chats with you. I’ll try to do better! Love to you! ~M

RYN: I go to the doctor on Thursday at 9am.

We brought some fresh Florida oranges back home with us. MMMM, they are so good. We also got some clementines, which are actually my favorite. Hope you had a restful night. HUgs, M
