Tiny Entry

I went out this morning to buy four things; speaker wire, night-light bulbs, 9 x 12 envelopes to send the questionnaires to the 4th grade and pick up Fred’s medications. I got everything except the night-light bulbs. Incidentally, one cannot just buy four feet of speaker-wire at Radio Shack. So, once we get these speakers hooked up, there is no doubt that if we ever need speaker wire again, we’ve got it. {But I had to laugh when I said this to Fred and he answered, "If we can remember where we have put it!"}

The questionnaires are on their way to the class by snail mail. I included a letter to the class and a self-addressed stamped envelope.  I sent email to the teacher saying they were coming. I was lucky to catch the mail man this morning. Just as I stepped out of the house, he came striding up to our mailbox…

Until later….

it sounds like a productive morning.

I agree with the other note. It sounds like you got plenty done today. 🙂

Sell the excess speaker wire on ebay!

lowes stores will actually cut wire to length. Why I know this… is just… sad.

ryn: kewk ing? is that a new phrase or something? never heard of it. 😉

Thank you…I think McQueen will be a real heartbreaker when he is older.

: ) *huggs* I am sure the day you least expect it the wire will show up!

That’s a good observation – of you can find the wire if and when you need it. I tried to organize my kitchen cabinets a bit last week and found multiples of a few things bought because I forgot I had them. Three containers of bread crumbs!

Sounds like you got a lot accomplished today. Hope you and Fred have a wonderfully happy Thanksgiving!

Have a happy Thanksgiving, Patricia! 🙂

We don’t remember where we put things. Joe always says “I know it’s here somewhere.” I tell him that in our case, “somewhere” is very much the same as “nowhere”! Here is wishing you and Fred a wonderful Thanksgiving! hugs, Weesprite

It is pretty frustrating when you know you have something, like speaker wire, but then can’t find it when you need it. We all do it right. I’m sure you will get great reviews from the kids re: your presentation.
