Morning
Fred and I went out to the Peking Duck last night and ate Chinese food. It has been a long time since we have been there. Usually when we go out it is to Libby’s Blue-Line Diner which is just up the road and serves good food at a reasonable price. But apparently the Peking Duck was what I needed last night because I really enjoyed it and we have leftovers!
Today I have an all-day collage class at the same art supply store where I took the Poverpal class last week. This is, apparently on collage materials and techniques and we have to bring photographs or pictures from magazines and a roll of paper towels! I am not sure if I like collage or not. I would like to move forward from the sticking-pictures-on-a-background techniques. I have seen collages that are truly art and I would like to try something along those lines, a sort of mixed media design…. Anyway, we shall see. More info about this tomorrow. I must remember to take a banana or other piece of fruit with me in case we go as long as we did before lunch in the last class. I usually eat a good breakfast but at the last class, I ate breakfast at 7 am and we didn’t break for lunch until 2:15! I was hungry and irritable and very down-on-myself and hating everything I did–all, of course because of low blood-sugar. So, I will eat breakfast at 8 today and be sure I have a snack with me.
I am 95 % sure I only have one thing left to do for the Italian class on Tuesday so, if I am correct, I will have some free time on Monday. What I need to do is go to the library but the library is closed on Monday. What I have to do is to read the bookclub assigned book which this month is local history. Well, I like history but I like the kind of history with people not battles and alas, I am afraid this is all battles ! But I will give it a good try. The meeting to discuss this book is this coming week—I will have to check my calendar for the actual day.
off to get breakfast—ooops! Just remembered I haven’t even put the coffee on!
Until later….
ONG, put the coffee ON! I do that before my eyes are even completely open!!!! Gotta have caffene!!!! Have fun at your class! Love to you! ~M

I get low blood sugar sometimes too. Good thinking to bring a healthy snack! 🙂

Good luck on that collage class. I’m sure they will do more than just slap pictures on a background for an all-day project. It’ll probably be wonderful!

Can I add to your list? Do you have another photo of your Poverpal figure? I was intrigued by it but couldn’t quite make it out properly and would love to see another pic.

Thanks for mentioning the library is closed tomorrow- Mondays Peter goes to craft time at the library.I would have shown up and had a very disappointed son if you hadn’t mentioned it. I get so cranky & miserable when my blood sugar drops. I’ve learned to always have a snack in my bag to avoid it.

oh sugar, you just reminded me that I forgot to buy porridge. I wanted to get some to convince myself to sort my diet out. Not that I ever like porridge before, but you never know, I might like it now and it would be a good hearty breakfast before school.

I absolutely adore Chinese food! I don’t like to read about battles either. I always feel about half sick when reading about them or seeing them.
