Itty Bitty Bullets *

  • EDIT:   because I have no small children at home any more, if I see Sesame Street at all these days, it is channel surfing. In doing just that this morning, I was delighted to come across a spoof of Law and Order. It was Law and Order: Special Letters Unit. I giggled like an idiot all through it! {In case you were wondering, they were looking for the letter M!}
  • Yes, I HAVE finished the art…
  • On a more serious note, I am going to talk to Pam {instructor} this morning about dropping the art class. it is not that I want to stop using pastels but that I am not giving it the time and attention I used to.
  • Contrary to my usual habits, I seem to have money all over this house. I just looked behind me at the bookcase and there are two $10 bills and I know the $18 I got out of the washer {don’t ask} is in a basket on my night stand.
  • you are getting bullets this morning because I am procrastinating on touching up my art before I go to class and I think this may make the procrastination less!  {And also, I LIKE bulllets…}
  • for the first time for a few days, I am actually hungry!
  • something is biting me. I went to bed with about five bug bites. I have a lot more this morning. Of course, Fred doesn’t have even one! So, whatever it is, it only likes me.
  • I sprayed myself with insect repellant which promised that it has a pleasant smell. To my surprise, it does. {The kind that said it was odorless actually had an unpleasant smell.}
  • more and more I am realizing that I can only give my full attention to one subject at college at a time. This semester, it is Italian.
  • FOOD! I need food!
  • more this evening…

Until later….

i would think that 2 college classes would be difficult to handle and one would get the short end of the stick. i would like a couple of days where i’m not hungry. i like bullets too! take care,

heh…. there is ALways money all over this house. And it’s not mine, cuz I’m not the one who strews it about…but it sometimes BECOMES mine, when I get tired of seeing it scattered about like leaves on a fall day! :o)!! I hope you have a wonderful day! hugs, Weesprite

Weird about the bug bites. Wonder where you’re getting them from. Maybe if you painted something in Italian, it would help. 😀

hehe. Special Letters Unit. That’s fantastic.

That would have had me giggling too. Special Letters Unit.

One of the things I used to love about Sesame Street was stuff like that (“Upstairs, Downstairs” with Alastair Cookie Monster)—I think they throw that in for the benefit of the adults who are watching with their small children. LOL!

I added you, too…I was so excited to see that youw ere a teacher, too, but didn’t have time to note about it when you first noted me. As I can, I am going to go and skim through from the beginning. So glad to meet you!! 🙂

Patricia’s Money Laundry! The best I’ve done out of my laundry recently was a dime. Sometimes I miss Sesame Street.

I’m so glad to get my appetite back too. I hated not being able to eat.

I still put on Sesame Street once in a while because it’s funny. I don’t like Elmo’s world though.

My youngest child is going to Italy next spring with the Glee Club at his university. He’ll be there touring the country and performing for 10 days. I want him to learn as much Italian as he can before he goes.

I really love Seasame Street and even though I don’t have kids, I still watch it from time to time.

That’s cute

October 2, 2006

*huggs* try the avon stuff it is supposed to repell insects that bite and your skin should be soooo soft, yes pun intended!

I bet the special letters unit was cute. Have a great one!

ryn: oh yummmmo! Cherry pie and ice cream sounds delish!

I’m having trouble reading your next entry. It’s cut off and it won’t let me leave a note.

October 2, 2006

dude, your next entry is all messed up i couldn’t note it sorry.

October 2, 2006

I can’t leave a note on the next entry, either…it won’t scroll right and half your entry goes off to the right and I can’t read it. But, I get the “gist” of it. 😀 Glad you made that decision to give all your attention to one subject.

I am always impressed by how much you do Patricia and I know you do each thing ‘à fond’. Fully. Foot to the floor. I can tell you are doing this with Italian. But don’t worry, the art won’t go away. Have you considered a trip to Florence to paint the beauty of Italy when you have learnt some more language. I would so love to be able to paint or draw the beauty of Tuscany, but a week there learning Italian or just drinking the wine, sampling the food and breathing the atmosphere would be wonderful.

i hadn’t heard about the law & order: special letters unit until now. thanks for the chuckle. sounds like a good plan to drop the art class. what’s the bug spray you are using?

*huggs* I was trying to leave this note on your next entry but I could not see your “leave note” thingy and could not scroll to the right. *hmmmmfph* Anyway I understand your releif and felt the same way when I dropped psych last spring. I love the plant!!!

RYN: Actually, it is. If it were just between she and I, I wouldn’t have spent as much time trying to disprove them. But the fact of the matter is, she is misleading a number of people that she reads and that reads her fake OD into thinking she is something which she is not. On top of that, if she had just left things alone after we parted ways back on 3/31, there wouldn’t have been ANY issues to speak of. Too much has been done and said on her end in addition to this fake diary to allow this sort of thing to continue. Believe me, I’d love to not have this ongoing drama, either. Thanks for stopping by, though.
