A Very Short Entry

Ok, I have finally typed out and proof-read the 14 exercises I had to do for Italian. I have checked with the answers at the back of the book and have marked my errors in ink. I have one or two copying errors and at least two places where I missed out a whole sentence. I didn’t feel as if I was cheating when I inserted those! It is interesting for me to see where I was having the most difficulty.

And, although I haven’t yet started on it, I finally got an idea for my pastel painting. The assignment for the class tomorrow is a still life but Pam {instructor} has always said we are free to change it if there is something else we want to do and this is especially true in my case since this is the third time I am taking a class with her. I will say more about what I am going to do after I have it started.

Ok, this is very short because I really do need to get started on the day…

RYN: Usually you have to wait until 6-8 weeks old to bring the puppy home. I’m planning on the week of Thanksgiving. I will be able to take a couple of sick days so I’ll have a full week at home with him to work on crate training and housebreaking before I go to work. Plus, since J is probably going to MS for Thanksgiving, that week will give me some time to just focus on the dog and getting him settled. The name is still Merlin… I’m fairly sure nobody will give me anything I like any better. 🙂
