I Am Back!
But I am not promising that I will stay! It has taken Verizon 42 days to get our DSL back! And, I hope you are remembering the HUGE distance we moved 
{from the upstairs apartment to the downstairs apartment in the same house!} At the moment, I am expecting it to be snatched away any day! And, since Verizon cancelled my email, since I have it back, I am getting nothing from any of the groups I subscribe to. I can, I guess, go and fix that eventually but how I am feeling right now is this is one more annoying, infuriating thing I can lay at Verizon’s feet. Enough of this! On to better things.
Art has only just started and I am enjoying it. Italian is a lot of fun but I will be very surprised if I make an A. My mind is a confusing buzz of vocabulary, gendered nouns and very peculiar verbs! Actually, it is, although confusing, a lot of fun. The part I like best is the raccontino {which means little story} assignments. How it has gone so far is that she gives us one she has written and we go over it. Then, we have to write one ourselves to the same pattern. She encourages us to be silly in the stories because we remember silliness longer, she says!
This is only a short entry because I have class at 9 am and I still have to eat and pack my backpack. So, since "Patrizia ha fame" {Patricia is hungry}, I am off to eat and then out to college!

I really admire you. By the way, it isn’t just Verizon. My son just moved to another part of the country and there it’s Time Warner that’s giving him fits. He prearranged all his installations to be done the day of his move in. He paid deposits to secure services. They still screwed up. It took five days for him to get cable and internet. He still doesn’t have a phone. It’s been almost twoweeks. What ever happened to customer serivce?
