Early on Monday

Ok, my resaving problems. I finally did what I should have done when I first noticed that I couldn’t save and that is ask in the appropriate place on the OD Boards! The problem seems to be for those of us who are OD Plus and who use our chapters. The DM upped us from 9 to 30. Chapters 1 through 9 cause no problems but new chapters are saved with a letter at the end rather than a number and this, apparently, I am told –although NOT by the DM–causes resaving problems! Anyway, the solution seems to be {a} to not chapterize anything I know I will want to edit and {b} wait for the DM to fix this! I am glad to know it was nothing *I* did ! {Insert a good dollop of guilt from Catholic upbringing in here!}
I slept VERY well last night, and even more amazingly, I slept all through the night without one wake-up. I was really surprised because I went to bed around 10:30-ish and I was asleep soon after but I don’t remember one drift-to-the-surface half-wakeup all night. And I woke up at 6 am which is a reasonable time for me. For some strange reason, I woke up thinking today was laundry day but my brain had it only half right! Today is not go-down-to-the-basement-to-do-laundry day. It is actually go-down-to-the-basement-to-put-things-on-shelves day! Mike mentioned last night that he had cleared out two shelves down there….Now, I am going to save this with NO chapter indication and see if I can edit and resave…

Seems like every time he adds a new feature, It causes problems that need fixing. Thank goodness for the boards. I always go there first just in case somebody else has had the same problems and an explanation, if not a solution, can usually be found.

I never figured the chapter thing out. Plus, now I have over 900 entries. That’s a lot of sorting to do lol.

Ah, I’ve never used chapters. Sounds too complicated for me. lol

I’ve never used the chapters. I am OD+, but I just never got into that habit. I just write…occasionally. Glad it’s working for you.
