Facing the Day
I am so NOT looking forward to today.
Today {this evening at 7 pm} is when we get to talk to the new landlord and learn our fate.
Yesterday I decided to vacuum the floor and dust everything today. And today everything REALLY needs dusting because this morning when I was working on the current pastel painting, I didn’t pay attention to where I was pointing the canned air and swooshed a HUGE pile of pastel dust into the air and watched it float across the room and settle on EVERYTHING! {Normally, I gently edge the dust into the tray on my art table and then pick it up with a wet paper towel!}
I woke up this morning with a I-don’t-want-to-face-the-day outlook. Normally, when I wake, I get up. This morning I held on to the sleepiness and fell back to a sleep that was not only filled with anxiety dreams but also made my hip AND my back hurt. The hip hurt because my body really needed the regular dose of acetaminiphen it gets first thing in the morning and the back, well, I don’t know why but my back always hurts when I stay in bed too long!
Plan for the day:
- dishes
- vacuum
- dust
- remind Fred to get his stuff off the table –yes, for a change, most of it isn’t mine
- write to my shut-in lady—hmmm, I think I will do this first so I will be sure to catch the mail person
- walk
- work some more on my new pastel painting which is turning out to be fun.{ It is two more vases one with a very bold pattern and one with a delicate pattern.}
- load the machine with the ingredients to make a loaf of raisin bread.
- try not to worry about this meeting this evening.
Until later….
Do something nice for YOU today…. I’m sorry that you’re feeling this dread.. It’s not fun. But my intuition tells me that you’re going to be happy in the end… Keeping you in my thoughts. Love you! ~M

You have a busy day ahead of you. Pastel dust is messy! But, it’s worth it. 🙂

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you having this meeting. I hope that it all works out the way you want it to, but I know that whatever the outcome you and Fred will work it out.

It would be nice if you could stay there, it seems to fit you so well, but on the other hand, life is full of opportunities and you might end up happier – – I suppose you know by now. Anyway, best of luck.
