Afternoon & Evening

Well, I trotted off to the library to the book club meeting only to find out that it is next Tuesday! But while I was there, I checked on Janet Evanovitch’s latest Stephanie Plum book to find I am next on the list and it should have been back in today. The woman who has it lives next door so I would imagine she will have it back quickly when someone calls tomorrow. {I used to work at the library so I know to ask them to leave a note to call the person who has it.}

I went out `to do a little retail therapy this morning and couldn’t find any shorts I liked. But I did get some Apricot Scrub. I love how that makes my skin feel. I can’t use it every day because I have a naturally dry skin but when I use it and use a moisturiser after it, it does my skin a lot of good. I also bought some more cold capsules but, of course, I am much better today! I really think I am over this cold, or very near being over it. I have gone all afternoon without a single sneeze or sniffle.

Only one walk today. I find it much easier to walk in the cold than the heat.  I will get up early tomorrow and walk before it gets hot. I also need to get my hair cut some time in the next few days.

Until later…

I’m glad that you are on the road to recovery. That was a fairly quick recovery….

It is so hot here in Kansas. High 90’s for a 2 weeks now.

What number J. Evanovich book are you on? They are really great sellers. I just finished the first and hope the other ones get better. I was suprised it wasn’t funnier. A couple of people told me they were great books. I will read another to make sure.
