Morning Stuff

Coffee is wonderful! I drank my morning cup and I was ready to go out for a walk. I walked for 30 minutes at 3 to 3.2 mph. Yes, I an back to using the timed music again. I am going to be aiming to do this at least once a day. I was pleasantly surprised that I did this with very little effort.  If I can get out early enough tomorrow before it gets hot and sticky, I may try the other one {called Walking 2 on the IPod} which goes from 3.2 mph to 3.5 mph.

I finally got round to putting the exact dates of my pastels’ class into the popup diary. I start on September 12 and go to December 12th. The class is from 11:45 until 2:45 once a week. This should not be difficult since I have had the experience of having the drawing class meet twice a week during the summer. I did feel some mild stress to get everything done when the class met twice a week.

I am finding that the experience of wearing a piece of my sister’s turquoise jewellery every day was a good decision. I think about her when I put it on and the thoughts are pleasant ones. Today I am wearing a square pendant on a long chain.

Now, what am I going to do today? I do  have to make a loaf of white bread since we are down to a crust for the previous one. It is getting hot out there. I still have the dishes to do but I may do nothing else for the rest of the day…

Book Club meeting is tonight…

Number of Steps on the pedometer for yesterday: 3480

No, I didn’t walk at all. However, I did go up and down stairs a lot since it was laundry day.

What brand of pedometer do you have? Do you like it?

August 9, 2005

That is a nice way to keep your sister in your heart. =) My grandmother died last summer. I was able to keep a pair of her earrings, which aren’t anything extraordinary but which I remember her wearing often, and love therefore. I wear them often myself, now.

I’m glad that you signed up for another class. And this one sounds wonderful!

I remember fondly that my Grandmother used to collect elephant figurines. After she passed away, I collected them for a while. I have about a half dozen. Every time I see one, around the house, I think of my Grandmother. It’s really nice!

You’re such a good person remembering your sister. -James

ryn: If I had stopped to think for three seconds, I would have figured that out! D’oh! LOL!

Reading club should be interesting since you don’t like the book. Good for you on the walking.

That’s interesting about your sister’s earrings. I’ve done the same with a heavy silver and turquoise ring that I remember my mother wearing constantly when I was growing up. Now I wear it all the time.
