The Rest of the Day

I went for my massage and it went pretty well apart from the fact that she had to stop so I could  blow my nose every fifteen minutes. I certainly felt very much better after the massage. When I got home, Fred had left a bag or two at the bottom of the stairs for me to bring up.

When I cleaned up one of my piles of papers yesterday, I found a movie from Netfix that I hadn’t seen. So, this evening I watched The Stepford Wives. Not too bad but I think it was only interesting because of the quality of the actors in it. It was as unlikely story as it was when it was a book!

I am fuzzy-brained from cold capsules. I just took another one which hopefully will dry up my nose through the night so I can get some sleep. Tomorrow is washday. I have more to wash than usual because this has been a week where I have dropped food down my front pretty well every day

Until later…

Oh, I know all about the food dropping…just put a white shirt on me and watch what happens! Thankfully, there are Clorox Bleach pens now. Without them I’d be SOL! Love ya! ~M

I would love a massage but can’t always afford one.

I loved the Stepford Wives book (of course that was a long time ago and I loved that spooky fiction stuff), but I hated the first movie. I never even bothered with the “new” movie.

Good that you went to have your massage. Hopefully it made the sickness a little less annoying.

which version did of Stepford Wives did you see? Hope you feel better. hugs r

I would like a massage. I hope you feel better soon–obviously, a hard trip.

I agree that the Stepford Wives was a fairly forgettable movie despite the cast. More Midler would be an improvement. It was fairly tacky overall…similar to the remake of the Manchurian Candidate.

I thought it was an interesting movie, but not all that. And hope you will feel better soon!

Well, I know that it is late but I can not send a note from work. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a cold. I hope that you feel better soon. I will e-mail you Tuesday with a more detailed note. Love Paula

((hugs)) and I hope you get over that cold. My sister likes to get massages. I have never had one, I have a problem with people that I don’t know touching me. I don’t know why I have that problem, I just think I would get more tense than the massage would be worth. 🙂

I liked the book much more than the movie. I totally agree with your assessment of the movie. Have a great week 🙂

Maybe that’s why I have so much laundry to do all the time – seems I can’t go a day without spilling something on my top.

I do hope you begin to feel much better very soon. 🙂

Hmmm, a massage sounds wonderful. Might have to get one myself. I have a “bib” for home use. It is a hand towel with a neck slot cut out of it, and it has velcro. It has saved most of my shirts! Hope your cold goes away SOON!
