Yesterday
I woke up yesterday with not much energy and pooped out about noon. {However, I did get a load of clothes and the sheets washed and put away.} This is much earlier than I usually run out of energy. I did one short walk up to the drug store to get something for Fred and that was it.
Fred pointed out to me that I had spent seven hours on Sunday cooped up in a plane and more hours walking around airports and with the additional worry of missing a connection and not knowing where my luggage was.
In addition, I also need to remind myself that I have just gone through two weeks where I was living in someone else’s house and in another country. Plus, of course, the death of my sister during that time. All of these things are stresses on the body and the mind.
So, today :
- Wash dishes and give the stove top a lick-and-a-promise
- put the ingredients for a loaf in the bread machine and let it do all the work
- Go for a short walk
And that is it.
I got up tired….
Number of Steps on the pedometer for yesterday: 4303
Considering what you’ve been through recently, I should think a couple of days of recuperation would not be out of line. Welcome home. :o) frank

I understand where you’re coming from…my lethargy didn’t hit me until this past weekend, but it was a doozy. Sheer exhaustion from dealing with a death, travel, etc. Go take a nap! *smiles*

I agree; your mind needs a break from all that stress and worry. How about sitting in the corner and putting that new table to good use? 😉
