Later in the Day
I can’t remember if I mentioned that my sister called me yesterday but there was definitely something wrong with her phone because her voice was so blurred that I could hardly understand a word she was saying. So, I tried calling her this morning and it was much worse. Not only was her voiced blurred but there were also high-pitched squeals on the line! He husband called back later from the downstairs phone and said she wanted to wish me a good journey and was looking forward to seeing me on Friday. I get there at 8:55am their time which is the wee small hours for me!
So, today I went for a walk, made a loaf of white bread, vacuumed the floor, washed the dishes, went to Costco with Fred, went for a massage and made a second loaf of brown bread. I was going to go for a second walk but it was too muggy so I opted for the air-conditioned bedroom instead…
We have been waiting all day for the phone to ring and Fred’s daughter and son-in-law to visit but apparently not tonight. They will have to work around Fred’s doctor appointment if they come tomorrow. I will be washing clothes especially those I will be taking with me. Almost in spite of my anxiety, I am getting excited about going to England. I really enjoy traveling. I like airports and going to new {or even old} places. I am anxious about my sister’s health but the excitement of traveling on Thursday is helping me feel better.
Until later…
That’s my pussycat….you had a bigger day than I thought…What did I think? Well, you stretched out on the bed with your laptop and a big box of chocolates that you’ve been hiding from me.
