Early Morning

If I am lucky, I will have the green chair in the corner Freecycled out of here this morning. If the woman who said she would call me this morning doesn’t, I have two others waiting in the wings! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Freecycle! Then I will be able to vacuum out the corner and clean out "stuff." This corner will then be ready for when Fred puts my table together. I would love to have it set up before I go  to England on July 14th {hint hint–nudge nudge} but I will be almost as happy to have it there when I get back on July 31st.

Some time this morning, my trusty debit card clutched in my hand, I am going on line to register for either Pastels I or Drawing II . Yes, I still haven’t decided… At this moment, I am leaning slightly towards pastels… More about this later when I have actually done it.

Yesterday I measured all my food and did well by saying to myself, "I can do this just for one day." I find that to be a very helpful mantra. I didn’t write anything down and I only walked once but today I am going to measure and count calories and write them down. I know I will walk once because I am going out when I have finished this and before the Freecycle person calls at 9 am. Whether I walk again or not bepends on the level of heat, or to be more accurate, I should say the humidity. We are back to having the air conditioner on in the bedroom.

Ok, time for oatmeal and coffee and then a morning walk.

Until later…

We had a great 4th, of course we pigged out on barbecue, the favorite meal for a southern cookout. I did think of you and had to chuckle when I thought of your comment about not celebrating the 4th. Just wanted to say Hi!

What a tough decision. Pastels sound fun, but Drawing II would be good because you’re skills should still be fresh in your memory. Either way, I think whatever you choose you’ll learn a lot. 🙂

That should have been “your skills” and not you’re. I don’t know how I make silly mistakes like that.

I persist in thinking I can one day eat like normal people. But time and time again I’ve proven to myself that when I stop being fanatical about food calories and nutritional content, i.e. reading labels and counting calories, I’m doomed. Hang in there!

🙂 Be so nice to have things set up before you go if possible.

Leaving on the 14th. We’ll get to see you at least once while we’re up there. Looking forward to it.
