Hot!

I have been going up and down stairs to the washer and drier in the basement and every time I pass Mike and Melanie’s door, I hear the hum of their newly-installed air conditioner. Then I come back up stairs to our hot  and uncomfortable apartment… Mike has talked about running a dedicated line for us tto have an air conditioner but he hasn’t done it…
Envy is NOT a good feeling…

I was originally going to walk over to a local park and take pictures to help me with my landscape sketch. It is too hot and too muggy. I have several pictures I have taken in the past already on my computer so I will look through those and print out the ones I want to use as part of my drawing. Hmmm, I wonder if it would help to turn these photos into black and white drawing since that is what I am going to do in class…

I am really irritated with myself because I dripped chocolate from a Schwan’s fudge popsicle all down the front of one of my favorite tops and even though I have pretreated the stains twice and washed it twice, the stains are still there! I will NOT wear anything with stains on it no matter how faint. I have an absolute  horror of becoming a steroetypical old person with food stains on my clothing and smelling of urine! But, looking on the cheerful side, the food stains on my new skorts {skort? hmmm!} came out very nicely which makes me happy.

Until later..

could you gently remind mike to run that line for you? i imagine he’s just forgotten and would do it in a heartbeat if you reminded him. merlyn and i haven’t been walking in this heat except for in the field so merlyn can do his business and then go right back inside. it’s too hot! take care,

Oh,my. I am your worst nightmare sans the smell of urine! I wear raggedy stained clothes around the house all of the time , especially while I am working outside. I sometimes look like a bag lady! LOL

Try oxyclean. That has gotten more stains out of stuff, even after washing and drying.

I recommend oxyclean too… it works great. Also, they sell these stain removers for specific stains at the store and those work even better. And we have the window A/C going downstairs and upstairs. I am sooo happy since we did that!

For the record, I never think of you as the old person with stains on her clothing. 🙂 Oh…look…that’s where that coffee landed this morning, right on my pants! 🙂 Be well,

Have you tried Oxy Clean on the stain?

Well, I hope that you can find something that can take the stain out.

Next time you’re at the store pick up some Lestoil which should be with the cleaning products. I swear that stuff can take out just about anything, usually even set in stains.

I slop all the time…I need to carry a bib around with me so that I am prepared when I eat. lol Josh

I would think turning the photo into black and white would help immensely with a pencil drawing. That’s a very good idea.

I thought food stains were just for new mothers. {smile}

>>a steroetypical old person with food stains on my clothing and smelling of urine<< Ha ha Patrisha, that’s what’s waiting for all of us…
