At the end of Sunday…

I have been studying the definitions on the Principles of Design a little bit today and have had Fred test me by giving me the words in random order . I got seven out of nine perfectly and got muddled up with one and got it wrong. The other wrong one was a total brain hangup! The definition  began "Perspective is the illusion of creating three dimensions…" Well, I wrote "Perpective is creating…" and then my brain ground to a halt!  But I am not concerned. I will rewrite those two correctly five times and then try again tomorrow. {The test is on Tuesday afternoon.} I have been thinking what I am going to set up for my still life and I will work on it tomorrow in the times when the washing machine is churning away at clothes. I quite like having something to do during these times because it is a good use of otherwise wasted time and I get to think I am multitasking !

Fred reminded me last night that I hadn’t written that I was going to get a massage today, and it is true. I was supposed to go last week but Beth, the masseuse, had an emergency of some kind or another and called to ask me if I would be able to wait for a week. When I go to the room she shares with another masseuse, she and I are usually the only people with cars in the big empty parking lot. Not so today! Today the town was full of people sporting numbers on their chests and backs and I remembered it was the Burlington Marathon today! Fortunately, despite the number of people, the marathon was over otherwise I would not have been able to go down Battery Street at all. And as it was, I had fears that I would not be able to park where I usually do. But, although the lot was fuller than usual, I did find a place. When I came out two hours later, most of the cars had gone.

The minute I got home, I got a bucket of water, a brush and a sponge and went down stairs to wash the bird poop off my car! I had gotten most of it off last Thursday evening before I drove up to the school to do the line dancing, but that had not stopped the damned birds at all. So, maybe getting ALL of it off will make them NOT use my car as a guano drop! My car is now streaky but there is NO bird poop! I was too tired to wash it properly today. Perhaps that can be something I do tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow…

  • wash clothes
  • set up and begin the still life. If possible, finish it tomorrow {If not, I will finish it on Tuesday morning}
  • wash my car?
  • do the dishes
  • go for at least one walk. {I only got one done today }
  • gather together all the art supplies I need for the Tuesay class. {This teacher is very organized and tells us what we need the class before.}

Ok, time to take the trash downstairs…

Until later…

I washed my car last Sunday and it rained two hours later. Thought about washing it this weekend, but it’s rained every afternoon.

A couple weeks ago, hubby and I went on a date…to a movie. He parked the truck and walked over to my side of the truck, where I was getting out. Suddenly something white dropped out of the sky and landed on the shoulder of his jacket. We looked up and saw a seagull! It was so funny…….but he wasn’t impressed! I teased him about it off and on all evening.

man, that stinks with the bird poop. I had to laugh at the word guano. It reminds me so much of Ace Ventura

ryn: I am impressed in myself, I didn’t die or have a heart attack on my own. LS was fine, and the pooches were alright. I am certain it was good for my oversized booty. : ) *huggs*

What’s with birds and cars, anyway? One time I parked in a place where there were NO trees or telephone wires of any sort, and it looked like a COW had flown over my car! GA!!! You MUST put a loaf of bread in your still life! With some flowers and a checkered cloth and a basket. Yeah..that’s the one! Trick is, to keep from eating it till it’s drawn!

Have you thought about taking you poopy car to the car wash place? Or the do it yourself place on Riverside? Just wait unil my car is in front, your’s will be spared and mine will get it big time. Those damn gulls just know how I hate them.

Our car was nailed earlier this week, and it was simply horrible, however — I think the heavy storms we had rolling through today cleaned it.

Massages…yum. Enjoy!

Car washing makes up for one walk, all the scrubbing and walking around the car and stuff.

I need to wash my car. Tom would kick my butt if he saw how it looks right now!
